Ruth Samietz was born in Canada, but as a child, moved to a town outside of Frankfurt, Germany. Prior to her marriage to her husband, Klaus, Ruth's career was with the airlines which gave her a true appreciation for travel.  She was afforded many wonderful opportunities to see so much of the world at a young age.   Fortunately, Klaus too appreciated travel and through his career with a large industrial firm, the Samietz family lived in Europe, Asia and the Middle East before returning to the States.  They integrated themselves into each culture, experienced  the local customs of each space they shared and found themselves truly appreciating what each place had to offer in it's fullest. In 1974, a simple invitation from friends in the Venice, FL area resulted in a life change of Gulf side living for Ruth and her family. Ruth has three fabulous children as well as grandchildren to brag about. 

   Ruth's specialty is foreign rentals and sales in the Venice market, specifically European.   Her wealth of knowledge and experience from decades of working and living on our wonderful Island joined with her extensive world travels gives Ruth an edge that not many could ever possibly have.  She truly enjoys her career and finds it rewarding to be able to give personal dedication and commitment to all her clients.  Ruth has been selling and  leasing annual and vacation rentals on Venice Island and in the surrounding areas for over 2 decades and has no intention of stopping any time soon.  You can feel confident in knowing that Ruth is an agent for life to return to year after year.

Ruth welcomes year round visitors and rental guests from all over the world and truly is our international diplomat here at Sunburst Real Estate Group. Ruth speaks German fluently and enjoys reading and collecting.  She is also the go-to girl for restaurant recommendations as Ruth really enjoys trying new restaurants and cuisine.
